Land

The Crisis

One of the major challenges in Africa especially Liberia, is the unequal distribution of the country’s resources. Poverty, per se, does not exist in Liberia. It is caused largely by a leadership problem that does not allow the country’s resources to go to those who need them. When food is sent to poor counties like Liberia, distribution problems often keep it from getting to those who need it most. Some of the countries’ leaders will store the food for themselves and let their own people go hungry.

Our Approach

We understand the negative consequences on the lives of poor children and families as a result of these challenges. To ensure our donors and investors that their resources are use to benefit their interest, our leaders and staffs will spearhead all our programs in Liberia and across Africa to make sure those in need receive the proper care and services.

Our goal is to purchase two hundred acre of land to construct our base of operation for Liberia and across Africa which include but not limited to:

  • Christian TV Network -To win souls for Jesus Christ through televangelism.

  • Internet Resource Center (IRC) – Thousands of children including students are out of reach when it comes to technology or computers. Our goal is to create an environment that will meet the needs of poor and less fortunate students, journalists, researchers, academics etc.

  • Construction of Orphanage Homes – To provide moral, emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical support including housing support.

  • Hospital and Clinic – to help save lives and provide adequate health care to the poor.

  • Schools –To construct schools in every cities, towns, and villages across Liberia, and provide FREE education to poor children and families.

  • Warehouse – To store food, and medical equipments etc.

  • Holy Cathedral – For daily deliverance services.

  • O.P.E. Mission – To extend hope and elevates people to experience their God-given potential.

Water

But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, “Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?” – Exodus 17:3

The Crisis

Following decades of senseless civil war, Liberia is going backward daily due to widespread of corruption, unemployment and poor human services. In a country of around 4.5 million people, 1 million people have no safe water and 3 million have no sanitation. In rural areas, around 30 per cent of people do not have access to clean drinking water and only 7 per cent have sanitation facilities. Half of Liberians have no access to a toilet and use streams or open areas. About 800 children die yearly from the outbreaks of water-borne diseases like cholera caused by unsafe water and sanitation.

Our Approach

We work with donors both private and public including local and international partners to help provide access to safe water and toilets in poor remote communities across Liberia. Our primary focus will be on reaching women and children who have to face long and dangerous journeys to find water or a place to go to the toilet. We work tirelessly to ensure facilities are accessible to all, including those with disabilities. We work alongside with qualified engineers who know the range and scope of the problems the communities face and have the expertise to fix them. We erect reservoirs, repair and expand water networks, renovate sewage systems, connect hospitals and clinics to water, invest in innovative irrigation systems and install clean restrooms in preschools. We ensure that families are educated in water, sanitation and hygiene practices, to prevent illness caused by water-borne diseases. In the event of an emergency, we will be quick to respond by fueling desalination plants and pumping stations, refilling communal water tanks and delivering bottles of water where they’re needed most. It is our goal to also drill and decontaminate wells, and install hand-pumps.
