Vocational Training Center

Not only do we want to expand the educational options and resources for the citizens of Liberia but we also want to expand vocational options and training for the poor, uneducated men, women and adults.  Our goal through our Vocational Training Center Program is to provide career training and opportunities to millions of poor and uneducated children and families; including ex-combatants of the civil war.

We will first implement our training via workshops and then expand to share our resources by constructing training centers across the country. Through the training center model, citizens will receive job readiness skills through the following hands on training which include but not limited to: Computer Repair and Maintenance, Microsoft Office Suite, Baking & Pastry, Tailoring, Fashion Design, Barbering, Auto Mechanic, Interior Design, Cosmetology, Driving, and more. Training will be on-going throughout the year. Our staffs will work closely with both the Private and Public sector to locate jobs for our graduates and help them in the hiring process.  We will focus our work in some of the nation’s most distressed and undeserved communities, where poverty is high and opportunities are limited.
